MAJOR TEXTURE RAPE

Yes, I do have an un-texture rape version. But I decided to upload this version in all its glory.

As you see, I kind of ran wild. Wanted to see what certain textures looked like next to each other and managed to kill her face *A*.

Commission for Oh!1945 on Gaia. Her art and character are both lovely, by the way.

Painted directly on canvas.

Ohhh, lovely! The warmth on the girl and the cool shades of the background work beautifully together. And I actually think that the texture gives a nicely subtle impression of water ripples, or something similar. Awesome work! :clap:

I'm so glad you like it *A*~ I wanted to give more contrast to an image since the past few images I've uploaded have been generally monochromatic/analogous, so I'm glad it turned out well.

Yep, out of school TODAAAAAAAY (though technically I'm supposed to be out on the 10th, but because of our school's messed up schedule, seniors and AP students take our finals early so we never show up for the "actual" final dates, rofl~)

You guys have been out of school since May? Or did they move it back this year?
